Phodi Again :)

This is another way of making phodi.

Instead of mixing the chilli powder with the rava, first you apply the spices on the vegetables and then roll in the rava.

Ingredients

Rava - 1/4 cup
Chilli powder - 1 tsp
Haldi powder - a pinch
Salt - to taste
Tamarind juice - 1/2 tsp
Oil - to shallow fry

I have used Mullangi ( radish ) today for this type.

Method
- Cut the Radish into slices n keep aside.
- Make a paste with the chilli powder, haldi, tamarind and salt.
- Apply this paste to the radish slices and keep aside for about 10-15 mins.

- Then, apply oil to tava, roll the slices in the rava and shallow fry.
- And enjoy :)....

So this is phodi? Without knowing I recently made an eggplant version with a pinch of garam masala. It went well with dal.
